To V….

She is stepping out, like a siren
She's a lady not to be missed
And she looks damn near unapproachable
But she just needs to be kissed.

Black and gold of her flowing coat
Give her wonderful classy twist
As she walks through the crowd that ogles
They don't know she needs to be kissed.

Simple fact, but not so apparent
Through the make up and golden mist
She's a girl next door on a prowl
And she just needs to be kissed.

She is smart, alluring and fiery
And you have to be dead to resist
But there's more below the surface
And that's a need to be kissed.

She talks and you sit and listen
And the thoughts in your mind persist
That her intellect and her sarcasm
Are a cover for need to be kissed.

That despite the class and the clothes
Her soul begs to be released
She craves to be held by strong hands
And, of course, to be kissed.

To be told that she can be a little girl
Or to be a grand dame of A-list
That she's needed and appreciated
And that she will shortly be kissed.

All the golden dust will be blown away
And certainly wouldn't be missed
As our bodies touch for the first time
After V is finally kissed.
